Retina Implant AG is a medical technology start-up company founded in 2003. We are building upon the results of a research project in which numerous German university hospitals and German research institutes have participated since 1996. In close cooperation with our partners we plan to place the first fully functioning electronic retinal prosthesis, in order to give back to blind persons a part of their lost sight.
